GRIEF

The first thing concerning times of grieving is to know that everyone grieves differently.  A person can grieve healthier if they are given permission to express their emotions and thoughts without fear of rejection or judgment.  Everyone must be allowed their own time to grieve.  Below is an incomplete list of ideas.  These are not designed to make it any easier, only to aid in the healing process.

  1. Never stop seeking God even if you are mad at Him or feel ignored by Him.

  2. Talk.  Find a wise friend who will listen and give you good counsel.

  3. Turn your why questions into what now questions.

  4. Keep a journal of your feelings

  5. Live.  Don’t let your dreams fade

  6. You are not alone!
