What Do We Believe?
1. We believe there is one!
One. Found
in the persons of the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit who
indwells the true believer.
2.
The
Bible - We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is inspired
by God. It is inerrant and
infallible in the original text.
3.
Salvation
– We believe that all people have sinned which has separated them from God.
We believe that God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ who died
on behalf of us, paying the penalty of sin.
We believe He rose again showing His power over sin and death.
We believe that we all need to believe and trust that His payment alone
gives us salvation. We believe that
it is very clear in Scripture that true believers, indwelled by the Holy
Spirit, cannot lose their salvation.
4.
Communion
& Baptism – We believe that God wants us to celebrate communion
in some way regularly. We believe
we are all to be baptized after becoming a true believer.
While both celebrations are honoring to God, we believe they contain no special spiritual power
for salvation.
